Recent and Upcoming Releases

This is where you will find information on my most recent work as well as
some projects that are currently underway.

     Swamp Songs - Full Album Release - April 2023
Written and self-produced by Sally Vee as part of her Artist Residency
    with Friends of Chakchiuma Swamp, “Swamp Songs” features twelve 
    original songs about Chakchiuma Swamp at Lee Tartt Nature Preserve
    in Grenada, Mississippi. All proceeds from sales of the album are being
    donated to the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Friends of Chakchiuma Swamp to 
    help fund educational programs for Mississippi youth as they visit LTNP
    as well as trail maintenance, boardwalk repairs, and other needs. 
    The album includes a full-color 28-page booklet featuring pictures and
    stories of Chakchiuma Swamp as well as song lyrics and original 
    artwork by Sally Vee. Recorded and engineered by David Moore at
    Merriam Shoals Studio in Merriam, Kansas. 

    Elevators Come Undone - The Hearers - Available Spring 2024
    Lyrics and music written by The Hearers. French Horn parts written and
    performed by Sally Vee. Recorded by David Moore at Merriam Shoals
    Studio in Merriam, Kansas.

    Evergreen - Official Single Release - Available Dec. 2023
    Written, produced, and recorded by Sally Vee at ILMD Studios.

    Stopping By Woods... - Official Single Release - Available Dec. 2023
    Sally Vee’s musical interpretation of Robert Frost’s “Stopping By Woods
    On A Snowy Evening” (which is now part of the Public Domain). 
    Produced and recorded by Sally Vee at ILMD Studios.

    A Voice Like Thunder - Official Single Release - Available Jan. 2024
    Original song written by Sally Vee currently in pre-production. Studio 
    recording set for December 2023.
 
    Wild Life - Sally and The Hurts - Full Album Release - May 2020
    This album features fifteen original songs written and produced by 
    Sally Vee. Recording, engineering, and additional producing by David
    Moore at Merriam Shoals Studio in Merriam, Kansas. Art by Sally Vee.
